What is portfolio P/E Ratio?
Every stock a fund owns has its own P/E. Roll all of them up, weighted by how much of the portfolio each holding represents, and you get one number for the whole fund - a proxy for how expensive its stocks are versus their earnings.
Portfolio P/E = weighted blend of each holding’s P/E, by portfolio weight

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU A higher portfolio P/E means the fund is paying more per rupee of earnings for its holdings - often a growth-style bet on future earnings, not a red flag by itself. Compare it against the fund’s own category peers, not in isolation.
METHODOLOGY Weighted by each holding’s share of the portfolio, from the fund’s latest disclosed holdings. Data: July-2026 portfolio disclosure via Punji. Not investment advice.
